Provided project management and integration assistance on the PeopleSoft v9.2 Human Capital Management optimization project at a large private mid-western university. Scope of work included designing and integrating PeopleSoft functionality with 3rd party benefits application and custom faculty recruitment bolt-on solution.
Provided project management and advisory assistance to a large midwestern university during their implementation of the Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) v 12c. Led the installation, design, build, testing, and deployment of the solution to the campus users to support their financial, supply chain, grants, human capital management and student information decision making efforts.
PeopleSoft human capital and payroll upgrade planning project for a large, multi-campus, public higher education system. The plan included leveraging the new functionality included in the upgrade of PeopleSoft human capital management from version 9.0 to 9.2, and developing a roadmap of new version 9.2 functionality that the institution should implement to streamline business processes and realize the benefits that result from the PeopleSoft investment. The scope of the project includes upgrading the human resources, base benefits, benefits administration, time & labor, absence management, payroll, reporting, and self service capabilities to over 75,000 users across 13 campuses, 26 schools and 72 learning centers. The project also includes retrofitting the interfaces with the PeopleSoft financial applications, PeopleSoft’s enterprise performance management/data warehouse solution, Oracle’s Identify Management Solution, and a custom legacy budgeting and position management system.
For a Northeast Regional Multi-campus Public University System, identified the new 9.2 functionality that will be included in the upgrade of PeopleSoft human capital management from version 9.0 to 9.2 while automating and standardizing time and leave processing utilizing the PeopleSoft time and labor and absence management functionality. Developed a PeopleSoft human capital and payroll upgrade strategy to migrate System from version 9.0 to 9.2 functionality. Outlined the PeopleSoft version 9.2 time and labor and absence management implementation strategy to deploy functionality to exempt and non-exempt employees of the large, multi-campus, public higher education system. Created time-phased, resource loaded high level plan which outlines the sequencing of tasks and assignment of deliverables needed to satisfy the upgrade and implementation activities. Outlined the roles, responsibilities and resource requirements and estimate cost ranges to complete the time-phased high level plan.
An $80 million full life cycle PeopleSoft human resources implementation project at a large, public university system. The institution replaced their 35 year old legacy, custom human resources and payroll applications with the PeopleSoft’s human capital management functionality. The scope included implementing the human resources, base benefits, benefits administration, time & labor, absence management, payroll, enterprise performance management, data warehouse, reporting, and self service capabilities to over 65,000 users across 13 campuses, 26 schools and 72 learning centers. The project included rebuilding the interfaces between PeopleSoft and a budgeting/position management system.
A PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Microsoft Customer Relationship Management integration project at a large private university. Each university school used different applications to support the student recruitment and admissions process. Duplicate data entry was required to process transactions in each of the recruitment and admissions systems resulting in potential data integrity issues, processing bottlenecks, and turnaround time delays when interacting with current or prospective students. Eliminated the duplicative and manually intensive effort by standardizing efforts on the Microsoft CRM platform and integrated it with the admissions process configured within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
Developed an implementation plan at a private college implementing the Oracle financials and Hyperion Data Warehousing technologies. The organization was redesigning their chart of accounts, replacing their legacy custom general ledger with Oracle’s general ledger and projects packaged software functionality, retrofitting over 100 interfaces to existing financial, human resources, payroll and college academic and operational systems, and implementing Hyperion’s Essbase, Budgeting and Reporting tools to support external and management reporting requirements.
Provided project assistance on the PeopleSoft v9.0 to v9.2 Campus Solutions upgrade at a large private mid-western university. Scope of work included designing and configuring additional delivered campus solutions functionality to replace existing PeopleSoft v9.0 customizations and/or support new regulatory and business requirements.
Project management Advisor for an assessment, strategy and planning project for a large Midwestern multi-campus university system. The assessment will include evaluating the current PeopleSoft v9.0 Enterprise Performance Management, WISDM/WISER data warehouse, Info-Access, and Brio/Hyperion Interactive Reporting data warehouse and reporting platforms supporting the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, Financial Management, Enterprise Service and campus solutions administrative systems, an including physical/logical design, ETL and options for the positioning Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) v12c. Application suite to support the system-wide operational and analytical reporting needs. The outputs of the assessment included the information architecture, functional, and technical fit/gap analysis, and a strategic roadmap/plan for enhancing the enterprise reporting, business intelligence and data warehousing solutions throughout the university system.
For a Midwest, Multi-campus Public University System, conducted a series of leadership workshops to outline a prioritized and time-phased list of business objectives that will be used to guide a system-wide business intelligence initiative. Developed a strategy for redesigning the financial, budgeting, and forecasting business processes. The implementation of InfoEd and PeopleSoft’s pre and post award grants management solutions at a private university. The implementation included leveraging InfoEd’s SPIN funding opportunity database, proposal tracking and proposal development pre-award functionality and integrating with and implementing PeopleSoft’s grants, projects, contracts, billing and receivables post-award functionality to support the research administration requirements of this large private university. The implementation also includes the selection and implementation of the FAMIS facilities management system and implementation of the Cognos and Oracle reporting and data warehousing tools.
A PeopleSoft financials, human capital, student, and portal applications hosting and management support services project for a large K-12 school district. The initial scope of the project included planning for the implementation of new ERP functionality needed to support the organizations financials, human capital, supply chain, portal and reporting needs, installing and transitioning to the new hardware infrastructure, and taking over responsibility for providing application management and hosting services over a 5 year contract term.
